It was reported in The Daily Mirror that Chelsea and Manchester City could make a swap of players. Carlos Tevez could move from Manchester city to Chelsea and Dider Drogba could move the other way.As Carlos Tevez was not happy and had asked for a transfer in January.

After all only Chelsea can afford his huge salary , which is 250,000 pounds a week.

At the same time Drogba who was a automatic starter for Chelsea, is finding hard to get a place after Fernando Torres arrived at Chelsea. The Spanish press says that Liverpool may be forced to sell Fernando Torres and Gerrard. This is mainly due to the huge debts owed to the banks , by the American owners.Torres says that he will like to join Barcelona if he is ever forced out of Liverpool. The amount from these two players will be huge.And then the stories are going around like , Rafael Benitez will get the sack and Mourinho will take over. But we must not get carried away.
Because I doubt any of that money will reach the club.The two Yankees will use it to pay up the debt they owe the banks. That is what happened when they sold their Baseball team The Texas Rangers and the N.H.L team The Montreal Canadians. Not a penny reached the Liverpool club it went to the bank. The Spaniard Fernando Torres or The El Nino as he is called ,meaning The Kid. Has scored his way into the record books at Liverpool. He has now scored the fastest 50 goals ever for Liverpool. The 25 year Spaniard took a total of 72 games to score those 50 goals.
The previous record was set jointly by Albert Stubbins and Sam Raybould. But these two players took 80 games to score their 50 goals, that is they took eight games more to achieve it.
