THE FINAL THREE SHORTLIST FOR BALLON D OR IS ANNOUNCED.

The final three shortlist for the ballon D Or. is announced. for the year 2015. And there were no surprises either the three candidate are as follows. 1) Lionel Messi. Barcelona. 2) Neymar. Barcelona. 3) Cristiano Ronaldo. Real madrid. This is all very well, but I would like to ask why a midfielder has never ever won this award or for the matter why a black footballer is not given the award. The last defender to win this award was Fabio Cannavaro. And the last black defender to win this title was ages ago was George Weah. Now do not tell me there are no good footballers from Africa look at Didier Drogba, Yaya Toure,and Samuel Eto"o.

IT IS A SAD DAY FOR THE PARMA FANS, RELEGATED TO THE FORTH TIER IN ITALY.

It is indeed a sad day for the Italian club Parma, they are now finely declared bankrupt, and they were under the hands of a administrator for quite a few months now. He had tried to get a buyer for the club , but one failed to come forward on that date set by him, and the other did not meet the standard needed to buy the club. Now as the club sadly could not be sold it has been demoted to the forth tier in Italy. Last year they came last in Italy so automatically they went to the second division. Their money matters made them go to the third , and as they can not find a buyer their now in the forth tier. A very sad day for Parma and football. But we must remember famous players played for Parma, Gianlughi Buffon was sold as a the worlds costliest goalkeeper from Parma. So did Fabio Canevaro the only defender ever to win the F.I.F.A footballer of the year, another player was the French footballer Lilian Thuram and Hernon Crespo as well. Mind Parma also won the U.E.F.A cup once.

GIANLUIGI BUFFON HAS EQUALLED FABIO CANNAVARO'S RECORD OF 136 GAMES FOR ITALY.

The Italian  goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon  ,who plays his club football with Juventus. Also called THE OLD LADY OF TURIN.And is also the worlds costliest goalkeeper, Juventus  got him from Parma for a sum of 32.5 million pounds.
He has stood well and long between the goal posts  for Italy as well.
 He now has a total of 136 caps for Italy, which equals  the number of caps held by Fabio Cannavaro ., Fabio Cannavaro  is also the only defender in the world to win the footballer of the year.
 Gianluigi Buffon is bound to break this record as the world cup is there in 2014, and Italy have qualified for it.
