 George Weah better known as King George, is a retired footballer from a small poor country in Africa, called Liberia. This country faced a civil war for many years ,as it was a very poor country right from the start and this civil war made the country even poorer.Poverty and noneducational are Liberia's biggest enemies.

George Weah escaped the war by  p laying football on the streets with his thirteen siblings.

 He was spotted by a French football scout, who informed Arsene Wenger the manager of Monaco., who then took him on a trial .George Weah  joined Monaco and then sold to Italian giants A. C.Milan, where he shone along with Paulo Maldini, Marco Van Basten,Franck Raijkard , Abiatti and Costacrutto. The A.C. Milan were invincible s went almost two full years without losing a game.. George Weah won the Balloon d'Or in the year 1995, he s the only black footballer to win. a Balloon d'Or

 He then stood for the post of President of Liberia,but lost it, he then won it the second time he stood.

 But poverty increased after the war and gang fights scared investments. The Chinese virus has made the Liberians poorer then what they were.

 Now the whole nation is against him and they hate him all the more.

GIANLUIGI BUFFON HAS A COLLECTION OFJERSEYS WORN BY FATHER AND SONS TO PLAY FOOTBALL.

The Italian living legend Gianluigi Buffon has a collection of jerseys of famous fathers and sons who played football at some time or he other. The father and sons are as follows. 1) Paulo Maldini and Daniel Maldini. 2) Lillian Thuram , and Marcus Thuram. 3) George Weah and Timothy Weah. 4) Enrico Chiesa and Fredricho Chiesa .

IN THE YEAR 1999 A.C.MILAN LOST HEAVILY TO PARMA..

Now Mr Tanci was found guilty of stealing huge sums of money from the club and it had to be sod to new owner. Then Parma who were sponsored by the Dairy firm Parmalat went bankrupt, and Parma was not only sold they were even demoted to the second division. and the new owners had to find a ew sponsorer as well.

WINNING THE WORLD CUP DOES NOT MEAN YOU WIN THE BALLOON d'OR.

The French footballer Antoine Griezmann , has said that there isn't a single French player to win the Footballer Of the year or the Balloon d"Or. Not a Sigle French player is on the final three short list for the award. It is a award that does no justice for footballers for sure. Lionel Messi also misses out from the last three this year, a player who has won the Spanish La Liga, the Copa Del Rey cup a well and he has scored 44, forty four goals last season and he has done it for eight years in a row. Footballers score thirty goals once in their life time only. Some yeas back the French winger Franck Ribery also complained abbot Cristiano Ronaldo winning the Balloon d "Or. That year Cristiano Ronaldo won this prestigious award, But very surprisingly Cristiano Ronaldo did not even win a trophy that year. And Franck Ribery won three trophies with Bayern Munich that year. There is only one black player to win this award George Weah at A.C. Milan in 1995. By the way George Weah is the president of Liberia today.

GIANLUIGI BUFFON HAS BEEN PLAYING FOR TWENTY FIVE YEARS NOW.

Gianluigi Buffon , the former Italian and still goalkeeper of Pharma and Juventus , also called The old lady of Turin. He will be reaching 40,forty years of age this week. He comes from a sporting family, his father was a weight lifter, his mother was a discus thrower, both his sisters play volleyball and his uncle played football. So you can rightly say sports was in his genes. It was in the year 1990, and Italy held the world cup. And Cameroon had a goalkeeper called Thomas Nkano , it was this goalkeeper that cast a big impression on Gianluigi Buffon. H started as the goalkeeper at pharma as a 17, seventeen tear old boy in 1995., and he played against the mighty A.C. Milan, which had strikers such as Roberto Baggio and George Weah.. Juventus then brought him from Parma for a then record fee of 33.5, thirty three and a half million pounds. He has won a world cup but never won a EURO cup or a champion league either.

CRISTIANO RONALDO WINS THE BALLON d 'OR FOR 2017..

The Portuguese footballer who plays his club football with the Spanish giants Real Madrid has now won the Balloon d Or, for the year 2017. But questions are being asked was it a just and honest vote and did he really deserve it? As you see in the 2017 season so far he has only scored two goals in Spain, but he has scored in the Champion League, and won the last two champion Leagues as well. But let me ask a few questions here. 1 When will a footballer from Africa win this title? 2) When will a player from the E.P.L win it? There has been only one footballer from Africa to win this title George weah from Liberia, in 1995. And the last player from England to win this title was the old one THE FOOTBALLER OF THE YEAR award.Was Michael Owen.. And the last player to win two of these old trophies was Kevin Keegan, that is donkeys of years ago. Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have each won the Balloon d Or , five times each, and the last time a footballer beside these two to win the award was way back in the year 2007 was the Brazilian footballer Kaka, that is ten years ago, just imagine has football improved or stood the same still. What is noticeable here is that there has only been a single black footballer in the world o win the Balloon D'OR. And he was a black footballer from Liberia in Africa , and his name was George Weah, lovingly called KING GEORGE. Mind you this happened in the year 1995. Pretty long I would say. he used to play in Italy for A.C.Milan, during the time Milan were the first club to be the INVINCIBLES.

The final three shortlist for the ballon D Or. is announced. for the year 2015. And there were no surprises either the three candidate are as follows. 1) Lionel Messi. Barcelona. 2) Neymar. This is all very well, but I would like to ask why a midfielder has never ever won this award or for the matter why a black footballer is not given the award. The last defender to win this award was Fabio Cannavaro. And the last black defender to win this title was ages ago was George Weah. Now do not tell me there are no good footballers from Africa look at Didier Drogba, Yaya Toure,and Samuel Eto"o.

GIANLUGHI BUFFON MADE HIS DEBUT IN 2001 FOR PHARMA VERSES A.C.MILAN.

The famous Italian and Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon who has done very well for himself over the years.He originally started his career as a midfielder , but it was a Parma he was a goalkeeper 20/11/2001 is a very important year as Gianluigi Buffon made his debut as a goalkeeper for Parma at the tender age of 17 years.That match was a famous one as Parma played giants A.C.Milan that day. And A.C.Milan boasted of players like Roberto Baggio , Marco Van Basten and George Weah. But Gianluigi Buffon held his nerves and the match ended 0-0. SAMUEL ETOO TO JOIN CHELSEA ON A FREE TRANSFER.

 The Cameroon striker Samuel Etoo  who is 32 years old is going to join Chelsea on a free transfer.
 The Russian club Anzhi Machakala  just wanted to get him of their wages , as he was getting 17 million pounds, the highest  paid footballer in the world.
Now Jose Mourinho has admitted that  he can no longer get  Wayne Roney, so he decided on the Cameroon. striker instead.

Andreiy Shevchenko.  joined at 30 from A.C.Milan.For 30.8 million pounds  22 goals in three years he was a flop at Chelsea..
 But even though  Samuel Etoo will be joining on a free transfer , it is believed the Russian club  have given a mouth sweetener of multi millon pounds to get him of their wages.
And Chelsea will pay him  ten million pounds as salary.
