THE NEW PRESIDENT OF BARCELONA IS JOAN LAPORTE.

 The Spanish giants Barcelona have elected a new president Joan Laporte , 7/3/2021 He s a former president of Barcelona in the year 2003/2010. 

 During that time he brought Pep Guardiola  as manager, Ronaldinho and Samuel Eto'o and his time saw the introduction of Lionel Messi i the famous Barcelona jersey.

 But this time round it will not be easy as the club is in a mess financially  .

 But he had promised that he would convince Lionel Messi to stay at Barcelona.

SAMUEL ETOO IS THE ONLY FOOTBALLER TO WIN TWO TREBLE TROPHIES.

  The Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o, who played for Barcelona, Inter Milan and Chelsea as well.

 He was a product of Real Madrid's youth academy. But was thought not to be a good enough player for Real Madrid, in his early days. He was sold to Malroca 

 He is the only footballer in football history to go and win two treble trophies with two different clubs.

 He won the treble with Barcelona in the year 2009.

The famous Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o, has now finally gone and hung up his boots after 22, twenty two years , and at the age of 38, thirty eight years and during hat time he played in Spain, where he started with Real Madrid's youth academy. But he was told to move on. He played for Barcelona, Inter Milan and Chelsea. With Barcelona he was very successful, he won two champion league cups four La Liga's, one COPA DEL REY He also won the treble with Barcelona, and the following year he won the treble in Italy with Inter Milan. In the Europa League match Liverpool verses Besiktas, Liverpool were given a penalty late in the match, now as Steven Gerrard their regular captain who was injured and acting as a pundit, the armband was worn by Jordan Henderson. Now when Jordan Henderson had the ball in his hands Mario Bolotelli snatched the ball from Jordan Hendersons hand placed the ball and scored the penalty , which was also the only goal of the match. The two points to note here are Mario Bolotelli who is in no great form where goals are concerned ,showed disrespect to his captain. The other point is what if Mario Bolotelli did miss the penalty, then what would have happened? I tajke your memory back to a match of Everton when the regular Everton penalty striker Nathan Baines had the ball snatched from his hands by Mirallas, who then missed his penalty. Now Mario Bolotelli has missed just one penalty in is entire career so far. He did it with Samuel Etoo at Inter Milan as well, but Samuel Etoo refused to let Mario Bolotelli take the penaltyand the Cameroon striker took it.
