SANTI CAZORLA SAYS SPANISH FOOTBALL WAS ALWAYS A TWO HORSE RACE.

The Spanish footballer Santi Cazorla says that the Spanish football had become to monotonous , with both Real Madrid and Barcelona fighting for every silverware  there.
 And this lead to Spanish footballers leaving Spain.
The players like Michu, Reina, Robert Soldado, Nergado, Santi Cazorla, Mikel Arteta  , have made things better in England but things got bad in Spain due to the economical problems.

IT IS WRONG TO BLAME BENITEZ FOR LIVERPOOL MESS.

The two American former owners of Liverpool, George Gillett and Tom Hicks are blamed for the mess at Liverpool. And for Buying bad players. But this is not tue as they won the champion league in the year 2004-5. And Liverpool had players like Fernando Torres, Xavi Alonso, Pepe Reina, Dirk Kuyt. And Liverpool came second in the E.P.L in 2008. And you can not come second if you have bad players.. The two of them spent roughly 300 million players, this has not been brought in the media. And most of the Liverpool players played for their country in the world cup.

The fans were angry because a new stadium did not come up. But there was a recession going on , which was not there when the the pair brought the club.

Now was Liverpool sold for 300 million at a distress sale, as they were to get a buyer by the 15/10/2010. How much money has John Henry taken on loan to buy Liverpool. It will be same old story another American owner who knows nothing of football and the club.

THE YANKEES SPENT 260 MILLION POUNDS ON PLAYERS.

The two American owners of Liverpool have spent 260 million pounds on players. The trouble was that Rafael Benitez spent this money on a lot of players some were good and and some were average, but we must not forget that he brought good players as well such as Dirk Kuyt, Jose Pepe Reina, Xavi Alonso, Danniel Agger and Fernando Torres.But some were costly and useless like Roberto Aqulanni, Lukas Levi. While some were sold as they were not settled at Liverpool like Jermaine Pennant, Yossi Benayoun.

Even though Fernando Torres is very good and scored a lot of goals, he is very fragile and is out injured for long periods. Liverpool are now in the relegation battle but it is to early. The question is how much will the new Yankee spend on This is what we have to see now.Liverpool?

OLD TRAFFORDS FORTRESS CRUMBLES.

This match between Manchester United and Liverpool , held on14/3/2009 , was a very eagerly awaited match. Liverpool had just knocked out the Spanish giants Real Madrid 4-0. in the champion league ,and Manchester had knocked out Inter Milan.
The match started as a cagy game and thje liverpool goalkeeper Jose Pepe Reina brought down Park and Christiano Ronaldo converted the penalty. Till this game in every game that Christiano Ronaldo scored , Manchester United have always won that match. But it was not to be that way at all.
The Serbian defender Nemjana Vidic made a mistake giving Fernando Torres a chance to skip past the big serb defender , who was considered by Alex Ferguson and the Trafford crowd as the most reliable player for his club.
Would Liverpool settle for a draw? It did not seem so , Gerrard, Kuyt and Tores gave a tough time to the Manchester defence.Then near the half time Steven Gerrard was briught down by Patrice Evra, it was a clean penalty as Evras legs were entangled with Gerrards. The penalty was taken by Gerrard into the corner the ball was kicked. Inthe second half Vidic made a second error and got a red card, this was his second red card which he got verses Liverpool this year. The free kick was taken by Fabio Ooreilo, it was a beauty of free kick Edwin Van dersar just stood still and watched the ball land in the nets high corner, and the fourth came from the substitue Dossena.
This win was the first by Liverpool at Old trafford Manchesters own ground in five long years. And it also was the largest marginal win for Liverpool in 75 , seventyfive years history.
Edwin Van dersar was finally beaten after 15 , fifteen games the first goal was scored against him. Now the title race is wide open only four points and one game to play in Manchesters favour.The match finished 4-1, for liverpool win.

LIVERPOOL VERSES ATLETICO MADRID.

The Spanish club were in the champions league after a gap of nine long years. And they were itching to go and score goals verses Liverpool. Rafael Benitz tinkered with the team and kept the Dutch player Dirk Kuyt on the bench, which was a big mistake, as he is a player who can help and create goals as well as score some beautiful goals on his own.
In the match Robbie keane was the lone striker in front. In the fourteenth minute Steven Gerrard made a goodpass to keane who slotted it in. But replay clearly show that Robbie Keane was clearly offside. This was not the end of the howlers by these blind bats called referees . But more blunders were to follow the referee failed to give clear goals to Maniche from Atletico Madrid and Benayoun from Liverpool. The Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Reina had to be on his toes all the time twice tipping the ball over the net. But Keane had to limp of the field ,, making way for Kuyt to come on. Xavi Alonso and Steven Gerrard were also injured adding to Fernando Torres who was already out , due to injury, Liverpool now face Chelsea on Sunday.
The first half belonged to Liverpool and the second half was all Atletico Madrid , and the goal did come in the 83rd minute. So the match ended 1-1

THE DIFERENCE IN THE TWO BENCHES.

The substitute bench of Liverpool was valued at 30, million pounds and at the same time the Everton bench was valued at only five million pounds. Yes indeed Liverpool are a richer club no doubt.
Then if you take into consideration the price of the Liverpool players such as Gerrard, Kuyt, Carragher, Pepe reina, Xavi Alonso , Robbie Keane, Agger, Mascherano, Fernando Torres, Ryan Babel and thje others .
So naturally the game with Everton was a one sided game

CHAMPION LEAGUE 2008/ 2009.

In the other match between the English club Liverpool and the French club OLympique Marseille , was a much better and equally matched game , the French club had improved since last years meeting between the two of them.
The first goal was scored by the French club a, and the scorer was Lorik Cana.
The Liverpool s influential skipper Stephenhadto save Liverpool witha brace.The second goal was a penalty after the Dutch player Ryan Babel was brought down. In this match Pepe Reina the Liverpool goalkeeper had to make a few saves , to keep Liverpool in the match. Last year Liverpool beat Marseille by a score of 4/0 win.. So this time it ended more dificult. Mamadou Niag,header missed by a wisker ,and Bakri Kones speed kept Liverpool on their toes . And their one ,two passes were very good and at times Liverpool were stretched. It needed Gerrard to come from a minor groin injury, to save Liverpool again. Last time Liverpool beat Marseille 4/O

THE DIRTY AIR AT ANFIELD LIVERPOOL.

The manager of Liverpool Rafael Benitz , the two owners of the club Liverpool , Mr Hick and Mr Gillitt and the president of the club Mr Perry, can not seem to see eye to eye. And the most common problem appears that Benitz still wants to buy more players . His choice are often on the costlier side when you compare with Arsenal. And add to the problem is that the team is full of players just sitting on the bench.
And even since Benitz joined Liverpool in 2004, 2005. Yes they did win a champion league cup in 2005, and that is long ago. Those stars have long since gone, such as Dudeck, Smicer,Kewell, Crouch, Risse, Garcia, Haman and others. He has bought footballers who are costly like Fernando Torres 28 million euros, Dirk Kuyt undisclosed , Xavi Alonso , Oozy Benayouin, Lucas, Veronin ,Reina, Agger Javier Mascherano.,Robbie Keane for 18 million pounds, so he had to sell Crouch to make some of the moneyby selling him to Porthsmouth.
Fernando Torres first refused to come to the E.P.L..And told Wenger that he was happy in Spain . But as Benitz is Spanish he agreed to leave Atletico Madrid . But the Spanish club demanded that Luis Garcia be given free in the deel.So Liverpool lost a player.
To make some money there was talk that the club as selling Xavi Alonso to Juventus , but the deel failed , and the one at the end of the season with Arsenal also fell through.
Benitz wanted to buy some players as the loyal Anfield crowd are getting restless as the E.P.L. cup has not been won by Liverpool in 26 oddyears , the last time was the Ian Rush and Ray Clemence era.
Liverpool want to build a new stadium , which would be larger the Anfield stadium. Their aim is to make a larger one like the Arsenals Emirate stadium.
The stadium will cost a lot to build and even after it is ready.Arsenal has benifitted in the extra money. But Wenger has said for the next twenty years we will have to pay by selling one or two players early . This year Alexander Hlep was sold to Barcelona for a undisclosed amount.
So there is unrest in the office ,and now it has spilt into the Anfield ground and the scoree are draws or Gerrards

So Benitz , and the owners must settle the problem at the earliest.And clean the air for good..
