A CONSORTIUM OF FORMER FOOTBALLERS WANT TO BUY A CLUB IN ENGLAND.

 Some former footballers  like Ronald koeman, Philip Cocu, Dennis Bergkamp, Henrik Larsen and Dirk Kuyt want to form a consortium and buy up a football club  in England, it need not be a club in the English Premier League, it could be in the lower division as well.
 In fact a yar ago they did try  a buy  a club in the lower  division.
 But they have not yet named the club they intend to buy.
 But one thing is clear here the group are waiting and are in no hurry to do any business as the Carona virus annd  shut in all football has hit football really badly financially.
  They know the longer they wait he cheaper will be the price.

FENERBACHE ARE FIGHTING A RELEGATION BATTLE IN TURKEY.

The Turkish giants Fenerbache , are now really facing a serious relegation battle in Turkey. The club is a very proud club and have never ever been relegated in their entire history so far. But relegation is staring them in the face now, Fenerbache were yearly playing in the Champion League finals along with arch rival Galatasaray. But gone are those glory days. They have already gone and sacked their Dutch coach Philip Cocou, after just four months in power. Gone are the days when Fenerbache had European footballers in their club like Robin Van Persie Wesley Sneijder, Luis Nani, Dirk Kuyt. But what is the big problem at Fenerbache now? There is now no money to spend on buying big players, and they have to depend a great deal on youngsters who do nit have the experience or that great skill either. There is a big fear that U.E.F.A will catch Fenerbache, for breaking FINANCIAL FAIR PLAY RULES. And Fenerbache need to generate 60, sixty million pounds to balance their books as well. It is a sad day for Turkish football I must say.

ROBIN VAN PERSIE COULD REJOIN CHILDHOOD CLUB FEYENOORD.

It now looks more and more likely that the Dutch striker Robin Van Persie who joined Arsenal in the year 2004 from Feyenoord for a sum of 2.75 million pounds . We have to go back to Liverpool's history, to 1960 when the great Emlyn Hughes waited six years at Liverpool to win his first title , The League cup in 1973. but then he won a lot at Liverpool after that in England as well as the first captain of Liverpool to win the European cup.

ARSENE WENGER AND DALGALISH HAVE A BUST UP.

The two managers of Arsenal and Liverpool had a bust up on the line after the match played on 17/4/2011. A total of 15 cards were shown , a record in world cup. the previous is 5 in 1986 in thegame between Germany and Argentina.And Nigel DeJong used a karate kick on the chest of Xavi Alonso, all studs were showing, it is a red card by F.i.F.A rules. Even Van Bommel escaped a red card. Van Bommel was the dirtiest player of the 2010 world cup. John Heitinga got a second yellow followed by a red. What would the score be if Holland had 3 men down? the match went into extra time and all was set for penalties, but then the two sustitutes played a big part in the win,Jesus Navas passed the ball to Cesc Fabregas with 2 minutes remaining, Cesc made one of his passes to Andrea Inestia to score the winner with 2 minutes remaining. But both goalkeepers made big saves.,

They organised the silent march to Anfield in protest against the the two American owners of Liverpool F.C.Mr Tom Hicks and Mr George Gillett. The fans blame them for the problems at the club and their big debt now they face. Now if they can not get funds they may have to sell their cream of players like Steven Gerrard , Fernando Torres, Javier Mascherano and Dirk Kuyt. This the fans will not like. Already Real Madrid have offered 30 million pounds for Gerrard.
The main reason for the march was that both the owners would be at Anfield for the match verses Manchester United,.

LIVERPOOL VERSES ARSENAL.

The E.P.L match between Arsenal and Liverpool, was a very exciting match and it had to sadly end in a draw of 4-4. Which was a fair result in the end. To the neutral watcher and a football lover it was football what we want to see everyday.
It was also a match where the Arsenal playmaker , the Russian Anderi Arshavin scored a total of 4, four goals all the goals scoered by arsenal. The goals came in the 36 th minute,67th minute, 70th minute and in the 90th minute. This is also the first time in many years sixtyfour years ago , 64 . The player toscore all the four goals at Anfield then as Mr Dennis Westcott , from the club Wolverhamton Wanderers.
The main mistake with liverpool was that they made defensive errors that proved very costly. Liverpool visited Stamford Bridge , Chelseas homeground, for the second leg of the champions league quarter final played on 14/4/2009. Chelsea had beaten Liverpool by 3-1 in the first leg and the crowd was shore of an entartaining match. It turned out to be just that a real thriller of a game some say that this was the best quarter final ever played.
Rafael Benitez was even willing to gamble and give Steven Gerrard a chance in the game, but he changed his mind as Gerrard failed to make a complete recovery. John Terry was suspended for this game, as he picked his second yellow after coliding with Pepe Reina in the first leg.
In this match the goalkeepers Petr Cech made a mistake in the 19th minute, when he thought that the free kick would go in the top corner . and so positioned himself for it. Instead Aureilio kicked a low one in to the net . Then it was the time of Pepe Reina to make a blunder, and he fumbled with a ball to let dider Drogbaa ballgo into his own net.. Xavi Alanso scored through a penalty , got the lead for Liverpool but not for long Alex kicked a thunderous free kick to make it even.
The Liverpool fans were sure of sneaking a victory when Lucas scored the third and then the Dutch Dirk Kuyt scored the forth. Liverpool fans were singing away theirsong YOU WILL NEVER WALK ALONE .
Then Frank Lampard came on the sceene and spoilt all the fun for the Liverpool fans. Frank Lampard scored the two goals to break the Liverpool fans hearts.
