CLUBS WANT THE EL NINO FOR 140 MILLION POUNDS.

Both E.P.L football clubs Chelsea and Manchester City are keen to buy the Spanish striker Fernando Torres, called the El Nino . Or THE KID. Either in january or in the summer. The amount is a huge , huge amount it doubles roughly the amount of the sale of Christiano Ronaldo. Who was sold for 80, million pounds. Both these clubs are willing to shell out 140 million pounds for Torres.And 15 million pounds as yearly salary as well.
But the major problem facing Liverpool club is that Rafael Benitez has made it absolutely clear, that if the two American owners of Liverpool, Mr Hicks and Mr Gillett, sell Fernando Torres to ease their financial problems without Benitezs knowledge. Then Rafael Benitez would walk out of Liverpool and join a club in Spain.

ASTON VILLA VERSES LIVERPOOL. 3-1.

Once again Liverpool in their match with Aston Villa, were not at all a team that came second last year in the E.P.L. They just could not convert the many chances they had. And yes the absence of Xavi Alonso is clearly being seen anf felt by the players, they are no longer being fed well both Torres and steven Gerrard are missing him greatly.
The first goal was a own goal scored by the Brazilian Lucas, as the ball came from a Ashley young free kick , and it got diverted into the net, the second goal followed around the half time. There was hope for Liverpool when Fernando Torres scored his trademark goal in the 72nd minute, but then Steven Gerrard brought down Ashley Young in the box , Ashley Young got up and took the penalty, and so scored the third goal.
So Liverpool have lost two games and won one game, as it no looks they may have to wait more then a year for a E.P.L.trophy.Arsenal are going full guns.

Ian Rush the former Liverpool player, who is very much considered a legend at Anfield, and Liverpool. Ian Rush played for the club between the years 1980 and 1990.. Those years are considered by many as the golden yars for Liverpool. In those eighteen years they won the E.P.L.cup many times. LIVERPOOL VERSES TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR.

It was the carling cup clash between Liverpool verses Tottenham Hotspur. And it was a night to forget for the Liverpool manager Rafael Benitz, who had made ten changes to the team, and the only regular player in the team was Fernando Torreswho had come back from a time of injury ,a hamstring injury and Benitz was keen to give Torres as much practice as possible before their clash with Bolton Wanderers. And it turned out to be a disaster for Liverpool.
While Tottenham Hotspur fairytale turnaround continues with each match under Harry Redknapp , and Whitehart Lane have found their long lost voices all over again.
There were four goals in favour of Tottenham Hotspur and two in favour of Liverpool.The first goal was scored by Pavlyuchenko in the 38th minute firing past the second choice Brazilian goalkeeperDiego Cavalieri.The second goal came frpm Frazier Cambell a player from Manchester United who was given to Tottenham Hotspur in part of the sale deed for Dimitrov Berbatov. LIVERPOOL VERSES MANCHESTER UNITED ON 13/9 /2008.

The E.P.L clash between Liverpool and Manchester United on 13/9/2008, was eagerly waited by many. The Liverpool fans were more cautious knowing very well that the last game they won over Manchester United was away back in 2004 and they had to thank John O, Shea for that own goal. Jammie Carraigher stood in for the injured captain Stephen Gerrard , and the El Nino Fernando Torres was also injured. The scales were in favour of Manchester United with their new buy the Bulgarian striker Dimitrov Berbatov made his debut. Manchester United took the lead through a Berbatov pass and a Carlos Tevez goal. in the third minute. But in the thirty fifth minute, the goalkeeper Edwin Van Dar Sar just charged out and as he missed the ball, the ball took a deflection from Wes Browns leg into the net and this time another own goal.. But Ryan Babel came as a substitute and scored the winner.
But we must go back to the start of the match and in the tunnel Alex Ferguson used all his dirty methods to put preasure on Rafael Benitz by saying oh you have spend to much money on Robbie Keane to which Benitz replied yes and you have spent to much money on Berbatov 30.7 million pounds to be correct.
