THE GUNNERS VERSES THE TOFFEES.
The match on the first day of 2009-2010 season between Arsenal and Everton was the most eagerly waited match , as Arsenal came 4th and Everton 6th last year. Arsenal had sold bioth striker Emanuel Adebayor and Kolo Toure to Manchester city. It was mgame bound to have a few goals in it. The first goal was scored by the brazilian Denilson it had all the class and Brazilian magic in it it was scored from 27 feet kick ,ending in the top cornerof the net. There were two headed goals from their deffender William Gallas and debutant Thomas Vermaelen. Cesc Fabregas scored a brace as well, and the icing on the cake was put on by Eduardo Dsilva , who came to play after the leg was broken by Martin Taylor over a year ago. A shot bounced of the post to be tapped in by the poacher Eduardo. The team was watched as they had gone four years without a trophy , and they sold a striker as well and Toure in deffence. This was the biggest defeat by Everton at the hands of Arsenal, and thi is the biggest score scored by a E.P.L team on the opening day ever. But so upset were the Everton fans that some went home at half time , when the score was 3-0. but there was still a suprise Luis Saha came in and scored a consolation goal in injury time so it ended 6-1. But one thing was clear Tim Howard was not at fault in letting the goals in. As they were all classy goals. Fabregas held out a arsenal jersey with the name of Dani Jarque , who was his friend died of a heart attack recentlyit had danis number21.

WHY WAS WAYNE ROONEY LET OF LIGHTLY.
The Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney was not even booked in the Champion League match against the Danish champions Aalborg. In that match Wayne Rooney stamped Kasper Giscard on the chest and the stud marks were clearly visible. But the referee failed to show a yellow card, for there have been times when players have got a straight red card for such an offence.
Let us see what the rule says. The rule clearly state when the studs are shown then a yellow card must be shown as it is dangerous and some one may break a leg. The Arsenal striker Eduardo broke his leg when Taylor stamped him with the studs showing.
But as this match was played at Old Trafford and the rules were quite different I think. The Manchester United players always pounce on the referee , especiallyRio Ferdinand, Michel Carrick and Ryan Giggs.The poor referee then supports the Manchester United players. Even Phil Brown the Hull manager has complained that when Manchester United play with other clubs the referee is always ball watching, and favouring Manchester United.
We in India a country who has never ever qualified for a world cup can see what is happening , which is asad and disgraceful thing for foootball governing bodies.
The U.E.F.A says that Wayne Rooneys incident was an accident, and there will be no further inquiry or fine.
But Taylor also did it by accident nobody goes breaking peoples legs.But Taylor got a straight red card , and Arsene Wenger at that moment afterthe match with Birmingham City said Taylor should never be allowed to play again.But Wenger the gentleman tyhat he is said later it was a pure accident , and those words were said when he was angry.
I often feel that manchesters matches are fixed referees make so many blunders and shamelessly apologise sheepishly next day. They have failed to book Christiano Ronaldo for his dives and to get free kicks and penalties.

NEWS AND MORE NEWS.
1) Theo Walcott has dislocated his shoulder and will be out of action for a period of twelve weeks . This has angered Arsene Wenger greatly. Mainly as big games between Liverpool and chelsea are tobe played soon.
2) Theo Walcotts place is likely to be taken by Shaun Wright Philips. The son of Ian Wright, the Arsenal and England playe.r
3) Givanni Trapottoni has already recomended the name of the Newcastle goalkeeper Shay Given to at least three top Italian Clubs.
4 ) Dider Drogba may face a fine of 180,000 pounds and three match ban, so he will miss the Newcatle and Arsenal games which are the man ones.
5) Yossi Benayoun the Isreali and Liverpool has already told a Isreal Tv that as he is not getting a regular starting placeat Liverpool , he may very well decide to move in january, as he is not happy with Rafael Benitzs totation system.
6) The Wigan defender Ryan Taylor is now wanted by both these clubs Everton and Bolton Wanerers as well. In the january traansfer window.
7) Liverpool are in talks with Alvaro Arbeloa about a fresh contract as they donot wish to loose him to Atletico Madrid in Spain.
7) Harry Redknapp has taken Les Ferdinand the former England, Newcastle, and Tottenham Hotspur striker to coach the strikers there .He is the cousin of Rio Ferdinand and Anton Ferdinand.
