ARSENE WENGER IS NOT THE ONLY MANAGER NOT TO SIGN MANY PLAYERS.

  Arsene Wenger is not the only manager not to sign many players. As there are many top managers  who did not sign players either., in this summer transfer window.
 David Moyes the hand picked successor to Sir Alex Ferguson has  only signed a single player so far. He is more worried about the Wayne Rooney problem of leaving Manchester United,  For Arsenal or Liverpool..
 Chelsea to have been rather quiet , in fact to quiet in this transfer window for a club  owned by a oil baron.
The only main clubs to sign far lot of players is Tottenham Hptspurs,  they have  got many new faces this year. A shear case of desperation to reach the champion league, and knock their arch rivals from the forth  spot. But Tottenham Hotspurs have not cleared out  old wood either.
 Liverpool have sold a few and got a few players as well.
 But they are doing it at a big loss. Stuart Downing was got for 20 million pounds but will be sold for 6 million pounds.  Andy Carroll was got for 35 million pounds he was sold for a big loss of 15 million pounds.
 It could very well be that  THE FINANCIAL  FAIR PLAY  will cause these clubs to slow down in buying.
But one club Manchester City have spent over 90 million pounds on footballers, they only sold Carlos Tevez for 10 million to Juventus.So the rest was whose money.?

LIVERPOOL TO SELL STUART DOWNING FOR 5 MILLION POUNDS.

 Brendan Rodgers the Liverpool manager  has decided that  Stuart Downing no longer has a place in his plans for playing any more for Liverpool, and he is very much up for sale now.
Liverpool had got Stuart Downing , who started playing his football  with Midlesbrough , but when it was  relegated , he moved on to  Aston Villa.
He did very well  at Aston Villa, and he was sold to Liverpool  for a huge 20 million pounds.
20 Million pounds was far to much a price for him, it was a inflated price.
 Now Liverpool are willing to sell him, Newcastle United are interested in him, but are willing only to pay 5 million pounds. A big loss of fifteen million pounds.
 Brendan Rodgers has got the Spaniard  Aspa now.

ASTON VILLA LOOSE 54 MILLION POUNDS .

Aston Villa has lost 54 million pounds for the last year, and 110 million pounds in the past three years. Which is indeed very huge.
The loss comes from paying of three managers in midterm Martin O Neil, Gerrard Houlier and Alexander MacLeish.
But at the the same time they did loose money because players were sold like Stuart Downing and Ashley Young.
Aston Villa in the past three years have made a clear loss of 110 million pounds.
And this year they are hobbling over the relegation clubs by three points.
