Since the CHAMPION LEAGUE started in the year1955,1956 to the year2008. There has only been a single team fom FRANCE to win the cup. The club was the french club OLYMPIQUE MARSEILLE ,which won the cup in the year 1992 1993. This is the only time a french club has won the cup.
