EX JUVENTUS BOSS GETS 3 YEARS FOR MATCH FIXING.

The frmer Juventus boss, the Juventus director Antonio Giraudo has been sentenced for three years in prison. For his role in the 2006 illfamous scandal in Italy.As he is already banned from all football was found guilty of sporting fraud and conspiary in the crimnaltrial linked to that affair.Clubs asked referees for favours, so Juventus was demoted in 2006.Referees Tiziano Pieri and PaauoDondarani are serving jail terms of 28 months and two years respectively.While Tullio Laneese the former head of the referees has got twoyears term.Seven referees and assistants have opted for a fast track trial, all have been aquitted.
The guilty four are unlikely toserve their term, because of the appeals process and a broad pardon for nonviolent offencescomitted before 2006.The former Juventus general manager Lucianno Moggi was amoung those who requested a normal trial, whichis now in progress.
