Arsnel played Aston Villa on the 27/12/2009, as usual the Arsenal defence was nervous and the first twenty minutes the defence was not sure of themselves.And on the other hand Aston Villa had the best defence this year with Bret Freidel in goal, they have leaked in the fewest goals.Arsenal still played their passing and keeping the ball, and they missed a few chances as well.It all changed after the first half.Wenger decided to take a big gamble and bring on Cesc Fabregas who had a hamstring i njury, and the move was very good. in those twenty one minutes Fabregaswas on the pitch the entire complextion changed. He scored a beautiful free kickand also the second goal, after thje goal he limperd of the pitch with hamstring injury again.There was no way back for the VillansLate in the injury time Abu Diaby scored the third goal for Arsenal . It was the final nail in the coffin for Aston Villa.
