The Italian giants Inter Milan played the minnows of this years champion league . The Russian club were having their first year in the Champion League, and they did give a few suprises on the way. they even beat the Spanish giants and reigning champions Barcelona.
This was a must win match for Inter Milan and its coach Jose Mourinho. as there were calls in the San Siro to have him replaced at the end of the season. But Morinho flatly denied it . Saying he never heard of such things from the club board or the players either.
Inter Milan beat Rubin Kazan by two goals, with a goal scored in each half, samuel Etoo scored in the 31st minute and Mario Bolotelli scored in the 63rd minute.And Mourinho marched to group of sixteen teams.
