PORTSMOUTH WILL SOON BE BANKRUPT.

The english football club Portsmouth are facing tough times where finances are concerned. And it so bad that it could very well be the first English football club in the E.P.L, to be declared Bankrupt afterit was given a deadline to clear all its debt by the British goverment.
The HM Revenue and custom filed a winding up petition against Porthsmouth, at the London high court, to be heard on december 23rd. and the club must show proof that the club can pay the tax it is now owing . A full hearing is set for 10/2/2010.And if the HMR has not recovered its money from Portsmouth by then, the club will be declared bankrupt and a reciever would be appointed.
But Portsmouth have been disputing the amount it owes in taxationdebt aand is expecting the HMRC to withdraw their demands .
But the French football club LENS has demanded that Porsmouth should be closed,as they have not paid the fee from two players Dindane .Neither have players got their weekly salary on time.
