CHELSEA START CUTTING SALARIES.

The English football club Chelsea have started to cut salaries and trim contracts as well.
1) Michael Ballack the German captain joined Chelsea from Bayern munich on a free transfer in the year 2006, for a weekly salary of 121,000 pounds , this made him the second highest paid player after Andreiy shevchenko. But he has now agreed for a one year new contract with only half that salary. But he may get another year, and the salary may increase to 80,000 pounds a wekif he plays 20 games in a season.Ballack wants to stay in England as his kids are there and he wants to play in the Euro 2012. He is 34 years old.
2) Nickolas anelka has been given a new two year contract with the same salary, as he is 30 years old.
3)Joe Cole he is 26 years old and wants a new contract with a weekly salary from 80,000 pounds to 100,000 pounds a week.But The Chelsea owner Roman Abrahomovich has said to cut salaries, as they had made very costly bad buys like Hernon Crespo, Adrian Muttu, Juan sebastin Veron and andreiy shevchenko.
