Raul Gonzales the former darling of Real Madrid , who wore the famous jersey number 7.Has finally left Real Madrid after 16 long and glorious years.He became a cult figure there, and when Luis Figo joined Real Madrid from Barcelona, he wanted the number 7 jersey which he wore there. But it was not given to him, he had to wear jersey number 10 which was worn by Clarence Seedorf., Clarence had moved to A.c. Milan.
t was Jorge Valdano who gave Raul his first game for Real Madrid, verses Zaragosa.And this season he played his last game also verses the same club.
Jorge Valdano says Raul is the second best player Real Madrid ever had after Alberto De Stefano. Raul was complete Real player and expected everyone to give 100% to their club.
