Lev Yashin the Russian goalkeeper has been a one club man, and was called the Black Spider, two reasons being, he always wore black jerseys and black shorts, and as he saved a huge number of penalties in his life time.It looked as if he had eight hands to stop the balls.
He is ranked as the top goalkeeper of all time, he also becomes the the only goalkeeper ever, to win the European footballer of the year, it usually goes to strikers.
Lev yashin won the European footballer of the year in 1963. And yearly the best goalkeeper award is called the Lev yashin award. He saved over 150 penalties in his career.
