Paul Scholes the Manchester United midfielder has retired at 36 years, after the Champion League final defeat to Barcelona.He signed as a trainee with Manchester United in 1991, but in 1993 he signed for Manchester United, and made his debut in 1994.In all these years he has won the E.P.L. 10 times, the champion league twice.
He came from the famous youth academy along with players like David Beckham, Nicky Butt, Philip Neville and Gary Neville. That was long ago, now youngsters are not coming of their class all are brought for huge prices.
Ferguson and Gary Neville have both pleaded to Paul scholes to play for one more year.But he rejected their plea.As he was not ready to play for 20 minutes only.
Paul Scholes played 676 matches for Manchester United. He scored 150 goals for his club.He played 66 matches for England , and scored 14 goals.He has got 87 yellow cards and 9 red cards.
Paul Sholes has played 466 matches in the E.P.L.And he has scored 102 goals in the E.P.L.Scholes is the only midfielder inE.P.L history to score 2 hat tricks ever.He will now take a coaching job at his club.
