But he had one class in him it was fair play.
In the year 2001 while he was with the E.p.L. club West Ham United he won the F.i.F.A Fair Play Award.
It was given to him for refusing to score a goal from a goal scoring position , for the simple reason the Everton goalkeeper Paul Gerrard was knocked out in a clash of heads and was motionless on the ground.Even when team mates asked to score he sportingly lifted the ball and stopprd the play , so Paul Gerrard could be treated.
