Fabio Cannavaro the 2006 captain of world cup winners Italy has finally hung up his shoes at the age of 37 years.The main reason was a lingering knee problem.
He started his career in football as ball boy for his town club Napoli, he then played for Napoli, Parma, Juventus and had two spells with Inter Milan, he also played in Spain for Real Madrid.
He also became the first defender ever to win the F.I.F.A player of the year in 2007.
