The Romanian striker Adrian Mutu, who was called the BRILLIANT. has had s troubled career , with problems at club and country level.
He is banned as he and his Romanian team mate Gabriel Tamas , both went on a drinking night out. But this angered the Romanian coach Victor Pitchura., as it was a night before the friendly match with San Marino. The match ended 1-0 in favor of Romania.
Mutu admitted that it was wrong to have gone drinking and rules are rules.
