The English club Arsenal have taken a big gamble on signing the Israeli international footballer Yossi Benayoun from Chelsea on a one year loan.
He has played for West Ham United , Liverpool and Chelsea.
As the deal was done on the last day and a short time before the 11P.M close, he faxed papers from the Heath row airport, as he was on his way to play a international match which was Greece against Israel.So there was no time at all for a medical checkup.
