Like Carlos Teves at Manchester City there have been players over the years who have refused to play for their clubs. One main reason was like Tevez they do not want to get club tied, as they wantto move in January or in the d Summer.
1) Dimitrov Berbatov. At Tottenham Hotspurs refused to play for Martin Jol in the year 2007-2008 After Jol was sacked he refused to play for Juande Ramos as wel..And moved to Manchester United.
2) Kireon Dyer at Newcastle United refused to play against Middlesbrough, and Bobby Robson was sacked as the coach, in 2004.
3) Alex Kolinko the Latvian goal;keeper refused to to play for Crystal Palace against LesterCity.
4) Sebastien Squllaci refused to play at Seville, as he did not want to to club tied there,as he wanted to play for Arsenal.
5) Pierre Von Hoojding, of Holland in 1968 refused to play for Nottingham Forest, he then went on strike till November.
