The E.P.L football club Blackburn Rovers pocketed a 100,000 pounds free. This was agreement made with Manchester United.
The agreement was that Manchester United would pay Blackburn Rovers 100,000 pounds for every cap Jones plays for England. This will stop only after Jones completes a total of 20 caps for England.
As Jones was sold for 16 million pounds in the summer transfer.This figure could reach 20 million pounds in the end.
