Lionel Messi made his way into the record books , he has finally broken the record of the most goals scored in a calender year, he has now scored 86, eighty six goals.That is one more goal then the great German goal machine Gerd Muller who scored 85 goals for Bayern Munich in the year 1972. The critics will say let Lionel Messi score in the E.P.La total of 86 goals then we can agree. It is because he plays at Barcelona and gets assists from Xavi and Andea Iniesta that he scores these goals.But please remember all strikers need assists to score goals.But Lionel Messi has netted more of them. I would like to ask why tWayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie or even Henry or Bergkamp failed to do it.
