This is the list of the five managers in the E.P.L to serve the longest , but Sir Alex Ferguson does not fit even in the top ten managers. 1) Fred Everises was the longest manager with 46, forty six years at West Brom Albion . He was appointed in 1902. 2) George Ramsey 42, forty two seasons with Aston Villa. Appointed August 1884 3)Jack Addenbrooke. 37, thirty seven seasons at Wolverhampton Wanderers.Appointed August 1885. 4) Frank Watts 35, thirty five seasons at Newcastle United. Appointed 1895. 5) Jack Nicholson 33, thirty three seasons at Sheffield United. Appointed April 1899.
