EXACTLY WHY DID REAL MADRID GO SO FAR FOR GARETH BALE IF HE WAS NOT WORTH THAT MUCH.

 I completely fail to understand Real Madrid, and to a extend Tottenham Hotspurs.
 After the president of Real Madrid  and the chairman of Tottenham Hotspurs , did meet in  Florida , they flew all the way to the U.S.A , to iron ut the Gareth Bale deal.
 After all the time and money spent, the Real Madrid president Fiorentino Perez says that the 85 million pounds was far to much, and Gareth Bale  was not worth it.
 I am sure the Real Madrid board should have known that i9n Madrid alone, you do not have to go to the U.S.A to find this out.
 It looks more clearly that Real Madrid wanted to pay it in installments, but Daniel Levy would have nothing of it, after all he was cheated by Real Madrid once before.
 They still have to payy part of the money  for Luka Modric..
 Real Madrid are famous for paying for players in installments.
