Alex Ferguson was at Manchester United's manager for 27 years , and Arsene Wenger is the present longest manager with 17 years at Arsenal.
But the shortest reign of a manager in England is Less Reed who was manager at Charlton Athletic , he was at the club from 4/11/2006 TO 24/ 12/2006, a total of just seven matches.
