LIONEL MESSI WANTED TO JOIN ARSENAL.

The Argentinean icon Lionel Messi wanted to join Arsenal, when his contract talks with Barcelona was not making any headway. The talks would not progress sadly. It was then Lionel Messi had a talk with the Spaniard Cesc Fabregas about Arsenal , Arsene Wenger and the club. As Cesc Fabregas spent quite a few years playing at Arsenal, and was even the Arsenal captain, after the departure of Patrick Vieira and Theirry Henry. Ofcourse he heard only good things from Cesc Fabregas. But luckily for Lionel Messi the contract was finally settled, with better terms, and a bigger buy out clause it 175 million pounds, as a buy out clause. Anybuyers around? But what does the Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger say to all this? He was dumbfounded and said it would be a honour to have had Lionel Messi at Arsenal. Thankfully it all ended well , and Lionel Messi signed a new contract atBarcelona.
