The streets were full for his funeral that day in Colombia. But the footballers of the colombian team were given police protection, famous ones like A.Aspirla and Carlos Valderama were indeed scared for their lives and families. Now will history sadly repeat itself if Colombia is knocked out in the quarter final match to Brazil. I really hope and pray that it will be a safe match for the players , as they have reached the quarter finals after a ong time. It has been twenty years sadly since Andres Escobar was shot.
