The hot headed Argentinean coach of Atletico Madrid got a eight match ban , for his action of slapping a forth offical in the Spanish Super Cup , between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. Atletico Madrid won it with a agregate of 2-1 in favour of Atletico Madrid. Diego Simone got the eight match ban because he gently slapped the head of the forth offical after argueing with him . He got four match ban for slapping the official , two match ban for applauding the decission and two for giving instruction from the stands. We might say thee is nothing much in just tapping a official. But the F.I.F.A rules say very clearly no referee can be touched. Diego Simone is lucky they did not fine him as well.Alan Pardew the Newcastle United manager was fined and banned as well for touching a referee.
