DANNY WELBECK WAS CONSIDERED SURPLUS AND SOLD TO ARSENAL . SO WHAT?
The English striker Danny Welbeck who was considered surplus at Manchester United, and was not fitting into the plans of the new manager Louis Van Gaal at Manchester United , was then sold to arch rival Arsenal on the very last day.
They did it even after Arsenal refused to sell their defender Thomas Vermaelen, who was eventually sold to Barcelona for 15 million pounds.
Now Danny Welbeck has now gone and scored two goals for England in their Euro 2016 qualifiers against Switzerland.
Danny Welbeck has scored two goals in that match, more then what Manchester United have scored all season so far.
It is clear Louis Van Gaal will be spending sleepless nights over this blunder.
