GABRIEL BATISTUTA ONCE PLEADED TO HAVE HIS LEGS AMPUTATED.

The famous Argentinean striker Gabriel Batistuta who played for seventeen long years in Argentina as well as Italy with Fiorentina and A.s.Roma. He has scored 207 goals for Fiorentina, and a total of 300 goals for clubs in Argentina and Italy.For Argentina he scored he scored 56 goals in 78 games. He was so popular at Fiorentina that the club from Florence put up a statue in his honour, he even stayed loyal to Fiorentina even when they were relegated , he was so loyal, nothing like today youngsters who will jochange clubs for money only. He is also the only footballer ever to score two hat tricks at two digfferent world cup year He retired in 2005 , and then his big trouble started. It was two bones rubbing against each other that caused him excruating pain, it was so bad he could not just walk even , he started wetting his bed as he found it hard to walk to the bathroom. Mind you the bathroom was just three meters from the bed. He even pleaded to have his alegs amputated, but the doctors solved the problem by putting in blunt screws in the leg. Now we are indeed very glad to tell you that he can walk with out pain,. His long nightmare is over.
