It is more then what Alex Ferguson spent in 27 years at the club. 2) Liverpool spent 117 million pounds. 3)Chelsea spent 93 million pounds. 4) England spent a total of 835 million pounds or28 percent on transfers. 5)Italy spent 260 million pounds or 17 percent on transfers. 6) Spain spent 495 million pounds on transfers or 28 percent on transfers. The costliest player to be got was Angel Di Maria for 59.7 million pounds from Real Madrid to Manchester United. The costliest player to join a Spanish club was Luis Suarez from Liverpool to Barcelona for 75 million pounds.
