MATCH DAY EIGHT OF THE E.P.L SAW FORTY GOALS TWOSHORT OF THE RECORD.

On the match day eight of this seasons E.P.L saw a total of forty goals being scored, with brilliant goals, own goals, penalties as well. In fact this forty goals is sadly short of the record for the most goals scored in a weekend. The record still stands , and it was set in the year 1995 , when forty two goals were scored. The most rememerable was the match between Arsel and Newcastle United that ended at 4-4 draw.
