There is no doubt about it TE BALLON dOR has become a dirty politic joke. Because it will be a Spanish club winner next year.And some footballers who are worthy winners will never get it. For example Michael Owen has won it but footballers of the class of Theirry Henry and Alexander Del Piero have not won it . Last year Franck Ribery the French footballer said that the previous winner Cristiano Ronaldo won the Ballon D Or even after he won the three titles in Germany with Bayern Munich, Ronaldo failed to win a single title with Real Madri that year he won the Ballon D Or.. Even Thomas Muller misses out on the final three in the shortlist.
