The DAILY MIRROR has said that Arsenal will pocket a sum of four million Euros or two point eight million pounds for Thomas Vermaelen. Arsenal had put a clause in the Thomas Vermalen sale deed that if Barcelona did win the Champion League in the year 2015, then Barcelona would automatically pay Arsenal a sum of four million Euros. The funny thing is that he has not played the entire season for Barcelona. But according to U.E.F.A rules there a total of forty gold medals and forty silver medals for the winners and loosers, and as Thomas Vermaelen was a substitute in a champion league match , he is then eligible to win the gold or silver trophy.
