But according to U.E.F.A rules he could very well still get a medal in the champion league final , which is played in Berlin . The Champion League final will be played between Barcelona and Juventus. Now according to U.E.F.A rules thee are a total of 40 , forty gold and 40 forty silver medals to be given on the final day. But as Thomas Vermaelen was a substitute for a champion League game he is very much entitled for a medal.
