WHO SCORED THE FIRST HAT TRICK IN A WORLD CUP.?

It is interesting to find out who was the footballer to score a hat trick in a world cup. It was in the first world cup in and the date was 17/7/1930. The person to achieve this fantastic record was the footballer from the U.S.A , his name was Bert Patenaude . Now it was the quarter finals match , and mind you as it was the first world cup most countries taking part were from South America, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and so on. On 17/7/1930 it was Bert Patenaude ho scored that historical Hat trick. Mind you it was not given at first as there was a dispute over the goal scored in the 15th minute. But now F.I.F.A have given him that goal as well , so it stands in Bert Patenaude's name he died in 1970.
