Marcel Jansen who played forty seven times for Germany and is twenty eight years old has retired early. The reason he gave was that his childhood club Hamburg have nw refused to give him a new contract. But please kindly note he is not a rubbish footballer at all, as a host of clubs from around Europe are still very keen to sign him up, but he will not do it. He says very proudly that he was a Hamburg player from childhood club, and he just can not think for one precious moment of going and kissing another badge of a another club on his jersey. Such loyalty to the club will be seen in Germany alone , no wonder they have suvch good players and managers all dedicated to their club and jobs. I hope Raheem Sterling learns something from this.
