But the big surprise was it was won by Cesc Fabregas who won thirty two percent vote. Cesc Fabregas joined Arsenal from Barcelona in the year 2003, he was captain of Spain's under 17 world cup team. Barcelona told Arsene Wenger that he would not be allowed to watch Cesc Fabregas play for Barcelona at Camp Nou . So Arsene Wenger flew to Finland in 2003 to watch Cesc Fabregas play and also win the golden boot.He was promised first team playing time as well as Champion League matches as well. He signed up for Arsenal and later became captain as well. He signed and played for Arsenal till 2011, before joining Barcelona again.
