ARSENAL FANS MUST NOT BLAME ARSENE WENGER FOR NOT SIGNING A STRIKER.
The Arsenal fans must not blame Arsene Wenger for failing to sign a new striker on the last day of the transfer window. It is not easy to buy a good striker as they are not available as you think it is ,as there are no good strikers for a transfer. For example Thomas Muller, Robert Lewandowski and Karim Benzema were not for sale in the first place, and Arsene wenger was never interested in him as he said he was not leaving Real Madrid.
He even flew to Paris to sign the Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani from P.S.G.
Now you Arsenal fans must remember buying a striker is not like buying a loaf of bread or a new car.
Firstly we must know if the club is willing to sell that player, or even does the player prefer to move to the damp whether of England with its very high taxes. Will he have a work permit or no. Will the club balance their E.U quata of players, and will the player agree to the weekly salary offered by Arsenaal.
And another thing is Arsene Wenger will never pay fifty million pounds for a 28 year old, because if he signs a five year contract he will not have a resale value.
And for those who do not know it Arsene Wenger has a Masters in Economics , he s not a footballer turned a manager, he buys players cheap and sells them for a huge profit, for example he got Nicolas Anelka from P.S.G for 500,000 pounds and sold him to Real Madrid for a huge 23 million pounds.
Another striker who wanted to join was the Argentinian striker Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli , but the selling price for this 28 year was 69, sixty nine million pounds. it is far to much I must say.
Mind you Arsene Wenger did fly to France to make the deal a possibility. The hotel a;ll costed Arsenal money, P.S.G wanted 50 million pounds for Edinson Cavani , but Arsenal offered 43 million pounds which was rejected.
I do agree that Arsenal is the only club in Europe not to sign a striker this stransfer window , got only a goalkeeper.
