CHELSEA WANTED TO SIGN LUISAO FROM BENFICA.

As Chelsea are having heaps of trouble with their right back Branislav Ivanovic and Central back in John Terry, who both are showing their age now and have clearly lost their pace and cunning. Jose Mourinho tried to sign John Stones , Marquinhos and even the Brazilian Luisao from Benfica.. But the first two failed to sign and Luisao had a huge buyout clause of 14.7 million pounds, which Jose Mourinho felt was to much, but you see Luisao has played over three hundred games for Benfica in Portugal. In the end he signed the Cameroon defender Papy Djilobodji for almost four million pounds.
