OLE GUNNAR SOLJKAR WAS NOT SIMPLY CALLED A SUPER SUB , AT MANCHESTER UNITED.
The Norwegian striker Ole Gunnar Solsjkar, who played for a while with Manchester United, till he was forced to retire from football due to a ankle injury that just would not heal properly He was also called the baby faced assassin. Bathe best pet name was THE SUPER SUB, and he did full justice to it.
We all know in the Champion League match between Manchester United and Bayern Munich , he scored two goals to win that years champion league.
But he also holds the record for scoring four goals in a single match after coming on as a substitute. The match was played between Manchester United and Nottingham Forest, played on 16/2/1999.
This match ended with a score of 8/1. Win for Manchester United.
