The Manchester United fans should not get to excited about the transfer of Romelu Lukaku from Everton to Manchester United , for a fee of 75, seventy five million pounds. But this big Belgian striker Romelu lukaku , was certainly not Jose Mourinho's first choice striker, get it very clear he was way third on the list. There were three strikers on the list of transfers Jose Mourinho wanted to buy for Manchester United, the list was given to Ed Woodward. The first striker on the list was the French striker Antoine Greizman , from Atletico Madrid. Now Atletico Madrid have got a new stadium , it costs a lot of money , to build one, so he was to be sold, but sadly Atletico Madrid face a transfer ban till 1/1/2018, so the deal fell through. The second striker on the list was Alvaro Morato from Real Madrid, but Manchester United were not willing to pay roughly 80, eighty million pounds for him. And the third striker on that list was Romelu Lukaku, they brought him from Everton for 75, seventy five million pounds. His weekly salary is 200,000, two hundred thousand pounds. Now next year Zlatan Ibrahimović will not be there to score goals , neither will there be Wayne Rooney to score goals as he has joined Everton on a free transfer, losing ten million pounds.
