U.E.F.A. have now made the final short list of three footballers to be awarded the Footballer of the year award or the Balloon D'Or for the year 2016/2017 . And the three footballers are Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Gianluigi Buffon. Now Gianluigi Buffon becomes the second goalkeeper to make into the last three, Manuel Neuer made it in the year2013/2014. But from the last ten players like Kylian Mbappe and Zlatan Ibrahimović miss out. The trophy will be awarded to the final winner on 24/8/2017.
