JAVIER ZANETTI THE ARGENTINEAN AND INTER MILAN DEFENDER SAYS THIS WAS HIS BIGGEST DEFEAT.
Javier zanetti was a Argentinean footballer and he played as captain for the Italian club Inter Milan, he played well over 800, eight hundred games for the club, Inter Milan then retired that jersey number which he wore for years permanently.
The Brazilian Adriano joined Inter Milan, , he was then young, fast skilful, had plenty of pace as well.
But he was born in a very dangerous area of Brazil , known for its robbers, gangsters , drug peddlers , drug lords, alcohol and prostitution was rampant there.
And it was very, vey easy for youngsters to go astray here ,so Javier Zanetti kept an eye on the youngster and demanded to know where he was going in the nights. Adriano was the next best thing to happen in Brazilian football after Ronaldo and Ronaldinho .
But then one day he, Adriano who was very, very close to his father , but one day there was a phone call from Brazil saying that Adriano's father was shot dead in Brazil, when Javier Zanetti went to Adriano , he gave a loud scream that even now gives Javier Zanetti Goosebumps . Javier Zanetti and Cordoba , spent the night and day with Adriano to help him out at this sad stage in life.
But very sadly the football world lost a star to depression , so bad was it that Adriano went downwards only never to return to th days when he was called THE EMPERRPR at Inter Milan.
Javier Zanetti says his biggest defeat was failing to pull Adriano out of his serious depression.
