Manchester United were willing to pay the full sum Everton had demanded for the Belgian striker, it was 75, seventy five million pounds, and the club happily paid the add ons as well which was standing at 15, fifteen million pounds. He had also said that Chelsea were not willing to pay 75, seventy five million pounds for him. This was understandable as Chelsea had sold Romelu Lukaku for 38 m, thirty eight million pounds only to Everton. Jose Mourinho has also said that Manchester United dodged a bullet, he means that had Neymar been sold earlier by Barcelona then there is no doubt here that Everton would have demanded another sixty million pounds to sell Romelu Lukaku, so then Romelu Lukaku would have been costing 135, one hundred and thirty five million pounds.
