SIR ALEX FERGUSON DID NOT ALLOW PLAYERS TO COME IN SWANKY CARS. FOR TRAINING .
Sir Alex Ferguson was very strict with the youngsters , during his time as Manchester United's manager.
He would never allow players to come for training in their swanky , and costly cars.
David Bellion , who was once touted to the next Henry says a few things about the cars used by the footballers.
He said he owned a Mercedes Benz , but he left that at home and came in a Austin Mini.
He has said also in THE SUN, that Sir Alex Ferguson forced a Manchester United footballer to sell his Bentley even
Sir Alex Ferguson was not keen that youngsters be driving big costly cars it would always affect the game on the pitch of these youngsters.
But today players come in Rolls Royce cars , for example Romelu Lukaku, comes for training in his Rolls Royce car costing 240,000 two hundred and forty thousand pounds.
I really wonder what Alex Ferguson would have said seeing this.
Paul Scholes said that he, Philip Neville, Gary Neville and Nicky Butt, used to change three buses to reach the training ground , and would change another three buses to reach home. No wonder they were so good.
I strongly wonder if a singlnglish footballer playing today could be select to play for a Spanish or Italian club?
