LEV YASHIN IS THE BEST GOALKEEPER IN HISTORY.

The Russian goalkeeper Lev Yashin who played few world cups in1958, 1962 and 1966, was a giant of a goalkeeper, not in body but on the pitch, Gordon Banks who was the England goalkeeper when they won the world cup in 1966, has said that Lev Yashin was perfect goalkeeper, he would shout orders from between the goal posts, he was always wearing black jerseys and black shorts so e was called the black spider, it was said jokingly that he had more then two hands and that he had eight , so he was called the BLACK SPIDER. He has been the only goalkeeper ever to save a total of 151, one hundred and fifty one penalties in his lie time. He has been the only goalkeeper ever to win the BALLON d'OR. Yes goalkeepers like Gianluigi Buffon, Manuel Neuyer have made it to the final short list of three but have never won it. But he was always a bag of nerves before a match, so he always had a smoke and a small drink before each game, it was to calm his jittery nerves.
